Despite some rain, tomorrow's workout at St. Anselm College will go off as scheduled. We are meeting at Sullivan Park at 9 a.m. A group discussion will be followed by team stretch at 9:15 a.m. and throwing at 9:30 a.m. If the playing field is too wet (as a result of rain tonight), we will practice on the artificial turf and send groups of four hitters into the indoor cage. The session will serve as a tryout and meet-and-greet with the Bobcats staff, which will provide free instruction. Players ages 13 and 14 are encouraged to attend. If you are interested in the Fall League beginning Sept. 29, feel free to attend the workout to learn more about the Bobcats. Questions may be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org.

We are feverishly preparing for the 2013 New England Elite Baseball season and are excited about the future of the program. In the inaugural Bobcats season, we will have a 13U, 13/14U and 14U squad with home games at St. Anselm College, Cawley Middle School in Hooksett, in addition to two home games at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, home of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. We also have a 10-week Fall Wood Bat League with two teams entered in the Middle School Division (ages 12-14).
The coaching staff consists of Bobcats director Kevin Gray, Jeff Montembeault (played at NEC), Ryan Hagan (Franklin Pierce/SNHU), Hunter Judd (SNHU) Nick Cenatiempo (St. John's) and Sean Hamilton (UNH). Fisher Cats pitching coach Tom Signore will help oversee throwing programs and serve as team advisor. We strive to teach comprehensive baseball skills while providing an atmosphere for young players to take their game to the next level. Our players are taught the value of hard work, teamwork, sportsmanship and learn to apply those skills to life. Bobcats players learn how to separate themselves from the pack!

An actual bobcat must learn to be a great hunter, stalking its prey with patience and waiting for the right moment to pounce. Bobcats AAU Baseball teaches a similar approach to hitting. We constantly talk about the value of quality at-bats, teaching young players to stay patient and attack the baseball on YOUR pitch. We feast on fastballs.
