My, oh, my, what a finish. The fall season ended with Bobcats Red losing a heart-breaker to Winnisquam, 7-6, in a High School Division semifinal. (A base runner begins the inning on second.) The game ended on a base hit with left fielder Nick Salcito making a long throw to home plate, where catcher Ben Palmer made a swipe tag on the deciding run. Earlier, Eighth grader Cody Morissette nearly had a three-run homer that bounced off the top of the fence. Ben Malgeri sparked the Bobcats from the leadoff spot, opening the game with a single and scoring on Mike Montembeault's grounder ... Earlier, the Bobcats opened the day with a 14-6 win against Pittsfield. Patrick Swanson earned the win, and Nick Kelly pitched two innings of relief.

Fall Ball! Bobcats Blue won the most games (10) in the High School Division and will play Concord Cannons Black at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday. Is Hunter Judd Coach of the Year? Games in the Elite Championship bracket will be played at Jamie Welch Park in Boscawen ... Bobcats Red was the only team to defeat Winnisquam varsity this fall. Eighth grader Cody Morissette and freshman Brody Dupuis had the biggest hits against Winnisquam's group of seniors and juniors. Bobcats Red plays Pittsfield on Sunday at 9 a.m ... Bobcats White plays Northern Lakes at 9 a.m. at Winnisquam High School on Sunday. Noah Wojtkowski and Bryce Barrett have been impressive on the mound, and Riley Denver and Joseph Quintal have been major contributors on offense ... In the Middle School Division semifinals, the Bobcats play Concord Cannons Black (9 a.m.) on Saturday at Jamie Welch Park in Boscawen. In the 12u Division, the Jr. Bobcats play Concord Cannons White (9 a.m.) on Saturday at Sanel Park in Concord.

The Bobcats celebrated the first weekend of October with some big highlights, including:
- Cody Pfeifer and Rich Marique combined for the shutout against the Granite State Storm in a 10-0 victory. Logan Galloway, Dylan Walsh and Sean Gannon all had hits. The Middle School Division team improved to 7-2-1.
- Cody Morel had a big day at the plate, including a walk-off single, as Bobcats Blue (6-2) won two games in the HS Division.
- Jordan Bussiere homered and Mike Montembeault had five RBIs, leading Bobcats Red (7-3) to a doubleheader sweep at Jamie Welch Park in Boscawen. High School Division standings:
