Tilton hired by North Shore Navigators

Congratulations to Bobcats pitching guru Chris Tilton, who landed a job with the North Shore Navigators and will serve as pitching coach in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. Tilton, a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, begins the season tonight at Martha's Vineyard.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for Chris, and we are so happy to watch as his college coaching career takes off," Bobcats director Kevin Gray said. "We owe a big thank you to Chris for all of his hard work during the winter and spring and wish him the best. The Navigators are lucky to have him."

The 22-year-old Tilton coached the Bobcats 13U team on a winter trip to Florida and coached a Bobcats 14u team this spring. During three months of winter training, he spent Saturday and Sunday mornings working with young Bobcats ages 9-15.

"Being part of the Bobcats family is a special feeling that I will take with me forever. I cannot thank KG, Jeff and Dina Montembeault and the entire staff for everything," Tilton said. "I am excited for this new opportunity and look forward to recruiting some Bobcats down the road."
