Three Bobcats headed to World Power Showcase in Miami

A star-studded triumvirate of talent from the New Hampshire Bobcats is headed to Miami. Cameron Olivo, Luke Ramsey and Marcus Soucia, who all won New England championships in 2016, have been invited to the 11th annual World Power Showcase at Marlins Park in Miami on Dec. 27-31. The event features the most prolific amateur players from around the world and provides a center stage in front of baseball's top evaluators during a live worldwide broadcast.

Players are selected based on ability, power, references and showcase performances. Olivo, a power-hitting catcher and pitcher, will represent New Hampshire in the "Future Stars" Home Run Derby and 12u All-American Game. Ramsey and Soucia will play for the East All-Stars in the All-American Game and also take their hacks in the HR Derby at Marlins Park. Bobcats director Kevin Gray, an associate scout for the Seattle Mariners, is honored to be among the East coaching staff.
